Ok let me ask you something. Out of all the things this game does wrong this is have to address. If someone came to your house, murdered your entire family right in front of you, ate your mother and then mocked you for it, then got away. And then years later you find out they died. Only for another few years later to suddenly see that murderer show up in front of your house again. How would you react? Genuinely, enlighten me. Because id probably break down as well. Samus had every right to break down. You wouldn’t immediately get angry, you would fall apart because your conscience can’t accept that they are somehow alive. People saying “oh why isnt samus angry why is she scared? Shes fought ridley several times” are just downright stupid. Plus not only was he back, but also the fact that it was because of the organization she works with. In other words, P T S FUCKING D. Out of everything wrong with this game, this is not one of them

24:13 I went back and played DMC5 again and I finally get this part now. What V was getting at I believe is that Nero WAS useless, as in the Prologue, right after the events of m10. Because V was speaking to Dante and Dante didn't have enough memory in his memory card any more after he got knocked out in m10. So basically he was telling Dante that he went to get Nero as a failsafe measure right after Dante told him to go back because he realized this is far worse than expected. But Nero in his weakened state stood no chance, hence he WAS of no use back then. The game made it sound like V still don't have faith in Nero but in reality it's not, hence there's no such counterpoint as "Nero actually landed a hit in m8" because they're simply not talking about current events but a recap of what happened when they first fought Urizen. And I just realized that today. Crazy how playing in a non-chronological order messes with your brain

That seems to be a theme with Umbrella & their heads of research doesn't really help you with making good bioweapons when you kill everyone who knows a bunch about said virus. Like they could've weaponised the T-virus so much sooner if Markus had been left to work on it. Its not like Birkin where he was selling out Umbrella & giving the G away to some unnamed company or Wesker who did the same but he got away alive because he faked his death. Umbrella is clearly being lead by the same kinda board of directors as Hollywood & a lot of modern companies that wants profits & doesn't give time for its members. Should this be like 5 sins. Edit: to talk about the hit detection I watched a video by somebody else & they explained the hits are caused as soon as you are grabbed & if nobody shots the zombie or the panic stick throttling isn't done after a set time you'll take additional damage the animations are more there to make it look cool & not to actually tell when the attack hits allowing odd things to happen in this game as its the only one to my knowledge that lets you free somebody before they should in theory be hurt.

I like to think Wesker or some other umbrella people locked the doors before Alpha team started to look about & we know Wesker must have a master key as he gets around a bunch. We may also assume Barry has a few keys implying that what we find through puzzles are spare keys or something. I think that makes sense & then we may assume Kenneth was trying to get the serum for Richard after the doors where locked & maybe trying to find the key to the balcony to save Forrest. I also think that Enrico & the others had a system of locking doors behind them to ensure they weren't flanked by zombies in rooms they hadn't cleared explaining their odd locations. If we strech it the doors might have a electronic activation for the locks or they where set to automatically lock under certain conditions meaning the keys are needed.

Technically in RE1 you can go through it without ever seeing somebody turn into a zombie. As Forrest is the only person who turns in that game & you can play it in such a way he never turns ie the barry version & not going around for a herb. So for all she knows the Virus is only spread via tainted meat, airborne leaks & direct injection. The Virus in RE1 I believe is a strain that can't spread by a bite as we never see somebody turn via the bite of somebody infected by Epsilon & we know BOWs like the Hunters are inable to spread it. the beta strain seems to be the most infectious as it definitely spread from the dogs in 1 to the birds & thus both Forrest & Edwards are likely causes by the beta strain which we see turn people & has immunity unlike epsilon. So we can assume that nobody bar Rebecca even know the virus can be spread as she meets Edward & thus Jill mightn't know as I'd say Rebecca being a lot younger isn't as open to talking about the events & likely didn't stay with the rest of the team as we know she went into the civilian market & isn't referenced by Chris' Diary to be helping on the Umberella take down. Basically for all Jill knows the virus doesn't spread as she was bite a few times in the mansion & never turns nor does Chris, Barry or Rebecca who also might've been bit & Kenneth, Richard & Enrico stay dead despite being clearly injured in some way by a T-virus infected thing which further supports my theory. The only hole is the dogs & crows but maybe the crows need to really peak to infect like Forrest & the dogs need to actually draw blood to infect but then again dog bites usually break the skin.

I feel like the room brad was in at the begining actually was safe at some point as there clearly was a guy being eaten before brad interupted them. so maybe somebody before brad was forced into a dead end & failed to use his shotgun to stop his gruesome fate. The person also likely was a preper or something judging by the large supply amounts. Also on Barry I am pretty sure he came back to the city when he heard about the outbreak & wasn't in Europe at the time likely being in Canada as implied by the bonus end screens you get for finishing the game repeatedly. We also can assume Jill was preparing to leave & likely was caught off guard by the outbreak. For Brad I think its implied he turned on the rest of his team siding with the chief to ensure he didn't lose his job & this is why he alone wears the police uniform as he was too much of a coward to stand up for his friends. Finally on Nikoli getting to the hospital there is a time jump so we may assume he either went a really long & dangerous way or that he just took the same path as Jill & Carlos after the fires died down as well fire doesn't burn forever.

I think the reason Billy stayed on the train, was because he saw the dogs kill the officers escorting him. Also, I like how the handcuffs come in handy in umbrella chronicles.
